Part of the success of the UDIA is the contribution of members to the various committees that focus on key sectors within the development industry.
URPS’ Melbourne Director, Paul Beatty, has been a member of the UDIA Victoria’s Finance & Investment Committee since 2018 and has just been reappointed for another 2-year term.
This committee achieves better access to finance for developers through engagement with the financial sector.
Paul also says “I really enjoy working with a range of property professionals in researching and advocating for ongoing improvements to the regulatory and tax framework for urban development that ultimately promotes a healthy housing market in Victoria”.
As for the many URPS team that volunteer on professional committees, Paul has found that he gets out what he puts in. And the UDIA achieves much in creating a more successful development sector as a result.
