Who Doesn’t Like Salt With Their Egg?

We all know Bernard Salt as a leading social commentator with a flair for the memorable.

He has popularised phrases such as “sea change”, “man drought” and “smashed avocado” to help explain key demographic shifts.

So what is his latest thinking about Adelaide?  “It’s a fried egg”.  And the CBD is the rich, creamy yolk in the centre.

Bernard challenged over 350 business and government leaders to be “outrageously aspirational for our CBD” at the inaugural AEDA Business Summit this week.

His aspiration was shared by our Premier, the Lord Mayor and experts in the property market, innovative technologies, small business and economics.

The Premier’s announcement of a $45million investment in tourism is evidence of this optimism.

Thanks AEDA for passing the Salt.
