Walkerville Recreation Precinct

A $12.4 million redevelopment of the Walkerville Bowling & Community Club and the Walkerville Indoor Recreation Centre.

Not just the home of the Walkerville Bowling Club, this also provides new facilitates for other community groups.  The indoor recreation centre caters for a range of sporting clubs including netball and basketball.  Additional on-site carparking is also provided.

URPS added value by project managing the design development phase of each element.  This included fortnightly meetings with Council staff and the design team to keep things on track and solve problems iteratively.  The outcome was great design integration, reduced neighbour impacts and expedited planning approval.
