Orora Oxygen Generation Plant

The land contains Orora’s glass bottle manufacturing facility, which includes furnaces, large warehouses and ancillary offices.

The oxygen plant will assist in reducing overall carbon emissions from the operations at the site. This will allow one furnace at the site to be oxy-fuel fired replacing the air-fuel firing currently used in that furnace. The funding of this project has been boosted by a Commonwealth Grant of $12.5m under the Modern Manufacturing Initiative – Manufacturing Translation Stream, Recycling and Clean Energy program, to accelerate development and commercialisation of low emissions technologies.
