Employment Lands Code Amendment

URPS was engaged to lead the preparation of the Code Amendment to rezone existing Deferred Urban Zone to Employment Lands. The Code Amendment process required:

  • The selection and management of specialist consultants to ensure the serviceability of the land;
  • Negotiations with service provides and Council to address infrastructure requirements and potential infrastructure deeds;
  • Undertaking through community engagement that fully addressed the requirements of the State’s Community Engagement Charter.
  • Proactively managed the process and stakeholders with a no-surprises approach.
