Adelaide Aquatic Centre Code Amendment

Our focus on early, regular and ongoing engagement meant limited objections to this key project in the politically sensitive Adelaide Park Lands.
Render of the proposed new aquatic centre

The Code Amendment was a key phase in a comprehensive engagement program that began at the earliest design stage of the $135 million new Adelaide Aquatic Centre.

Our focus on establishing relationships, managing expectations and following through on promises made, set this engagement up for success.

We used a range of engagement tactics, including pop up sessions and clear and easy to understand information to ensure people understood what feedback we were seeking, and how they could provide feedback.

Our focus on early, regular and ongoing engagement resulted in few negative submissions being received on the Code Amendment, streamlining the approval process.
