URPS was engaged to lead the preparation of the Code Amendment to rezone existing Deferred Urban Zone to Employment Lands. The Code Amendment process required:
- The selection and management of specialist consultants to ensure the serviceability of the land;
- Negotiations with service provides and Council to address infrastructure requirements and potential infrastructure deeds;
- Undertaking through community engagement that fully addressed the requirements of the State’s Community Engagement Charter.
- Proactively managed the process and stakeholders with a no-surprises approach.
