Bourke Street, Nailsworth

Mid-century styled dwelling set amongst older styled houses.

A modernist-styled dwelling juxtaposed against established houses of varied architectural style in the street.

URPS added value by convincing the Council that the design fits-in to the streetscape without mimicking the architectural form, style and detailing of other existing houses. It does this, for example, by its scale, carefully selected building materials and substantial windows facing the street.
