Unley Code Amendment

Working with the community to understand infill development located at Arthur and Mary Street, Unley.

Just a hop, skip and jump from the city and well connected to parks, transport and shops makes Unley an ideal candidate for infill development. This needs to be carefully balanced alongside highly valued character homes in typically quiet leafy streets.

The Arthur and Mary Street Code Amendment aimed to facilitate well-designed infill housing in this sought after suburb.

URPS used a range of engagement tactics, including getting out and door-knocking local residents to canvas views about the proposed changes. We added value by working closely with resident groups to work through the process and detail of the Code Amendment and ensure their opinions were carefully considered in the detail of the final policy.
