Church and John Street Revitalisation

A personal touch built trust with traders during construction.

The Church and John Street Revitalisation Project was an important step in creating a new heart in the City of Salisbury. Through improved lighting, landscaping, and paving it created an enhanced pedestrian environment and visitor experience.

URPS managed stakeholder and community engagement, ensuring a smooth process from design finalisation to construction.

During the design and pre-construction phases, our approach to one-on-one meetings with stakeholders, businesses and groups built trust and understanding. We also gave presentations to key groups, and hosted drop-in sessions with local businesses. Our responsive team were the conduit between construction crews and businesses. We managed issues quickly to keep everyone satisfied while works were underway.
