Our natural environment is essential to the health and productivity of our communities and industries. Across urban, regional and rural areas natural resources provide food, fibre, climate regulation, ecosystem services and amenity, and are of cultural and spiritual significance to First Nations peoples. We tailor our approach to reflect the unique context of each project.

As climate change exacerbates existing threats and introduces new challenges, understanding the impacts on our people, places and economy is critical so we can prepare, mitigate and adapt.

The policies, plans and processes we facilitate are underpinned by our understanding of the strategic context, backed up by scientific evidence and guided by the priorities of stakeholders and the community.
