Wertheim Piano Factory, Richmond

URPS was engaged by Kennett Builders to obtain planning approval for their new Melbourne headquarters, located within a historically significant heritage building.
Wertheim Piano Factory

This approval required amendments to the intricate planning permit that controls the former Wertheim Piano Factory in Richmond, within the former Channel 9 site.

URPS negotiated with the relevant authorities, and limited their scope of consideration through submissions to Heritage Victoria and Yarra City Council. We also negotiated the removal of several superfluous permit conditions.
