Truro Bypass Project

URPS led stakeholder and community engagement for the Truro Bypass Project, delivering a tailored approach that built trust and opened doors.
Truro Bypass

From community information sessions to direct engagement with landowners and lessees, the team ensured voices were heard and relationships were strengthened.

Key stakeholders, including the South Australian Road Transport Association, South Australian Freight Council and the RAA, were actively involved through targeted meetings. URPS’s strength in relationship-building proved invaluable, especially in working closely with those directly impacted by the project.

The engagement approach laid a strong foundation for project success. It built rapport with gatekeepers, fostered project champions, and earned community goodwill. It also enabled access to private property for on-ground investigations, supported strategic advice to the Department, and helped identify and mitigate risks early. Every interaction was carefully documented, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout.
