Strategic Freight Studies – High Productivity Vehicle Network

Bigger trucks. Better connections. Smarter freight. URPS led engagement for South Australia’s High Productivity Vehicle Network.
Strategic Freight Studies

The goal was to unlock the potential of larger heavy vehicles across the national highway system.

Phase 1 was fast-paced and high-impact. Over six weeks, URPS facilitated more than 30 workshops and meetings with over 50 organisations. Phase 2 brought stakeholders back to the table to refine and prioritise investment scenarios.

Through deep engagement with industry, government and councils, URPS uncovered the real-world barriers and opportunities for freight operators. Engagement played a key role in shaping final business cases, ensuring decisions were grounded in evidence and aligned with industry needs.
