Pomberuk Reserve Co-design Working Group Facilitation

URPS supported collaborative design outcomes through facilitation of the Pomberuk Reserve Working Group over a two-year period.
Pomberuk

The Working Group, comprising representatives from Ngarrindjeri, SA Water, Murray Bridge Council, and the Department for Environment and Water, focused on developing a shared vision, design principles, and concept options for the upgrade of Pomberuk Reserve. Discussions centred on bank stabilisation and broader reserve improvements that integrate environmental and cultural values.

URPS added value by fostering an inclusive co-design environment where all partners could contribute equally. We provided independent facilitation, maintained clear records to support accountability, and ensured discussions remained focused and aligned with project objectives. This approach enabled the group to meet Federal Government timelines while achieving meaningful outcomes.
