Murray Bridge Residential Growth Areas

A key strategic growth area for Greater Adelaide, this rezoning facilitated the development of a complex fragmented site.
Murray Bridge

URPS supported Council by preparing the Murray Bridge Residential Growth Areas Code Amendment. This proposed the rezoning of three key residential growth areas in Murray Bridge – over 97.5 hectares of land within 5 kms of the town centre. URPS also supported Council in developing the framework for an infrastructure scheme to be supported by the State.

URPS added value by running early engagement with landowners to assist them in understanding Code Amendment and infrastructure planning processes. This assisted the community to provide genuine feedback while also addressing their concerns before formal consultation began. We received fewer public submissions as a result than was first anticipated.
