Mount Lofty Golf Estate

Adding value to statutory engagement increases understanding.
Mount Lofty Golf Estate

The Mount Lofty Golf Estate is a $50 million investment in the Adelaide Hills.  It will create a destination for events, tourism and, of course, golf.

This major development required statutory consultation – a process delivered by the State Government. We understood that the planning process can seem mysterious, confusing and intimidating for communities.  This meant that URPS undertook additional community engagement to support the statutory process.

URPS added value by ensuring that we prepared information that met the needs of the community. This consisted of preparing bespoke materials in easy to understand plain English that were letterbox dropped to the surrounding community. These materials responded directly to the issues we thought might be important to the community, tuning into their needs. We also delivered two community meetings and a briefing to Council Elected Members.
