Our approach focused on building understanding and trust across a diverse stakeholder base. Early engagement with First Nations groups, including Narungga Nation Aboriginal Corporation and Broken Hill Aboriginal Land Council, set the tone for genuine partnership. These conversations helped shape how the project could deliver better outcomes for First Nations people and respect for Country.
By starting early and listening deeply, URPS laid the groundwork for informed dialogue and community acceptance – ensuring voices were heard before the first shovel hits the ground.
