Golden Grove Code Amendment

Transforming greenfield land into a premium master planned community.
Golden Grove Code Amendment

The Golden Grove Stage 1 and Stage 2 Code Amendments rezoned 104 hectares of land.

The Amendment enables approximately 850 new dwellings close to existing open space, shops and transport. New employment land was also created. The updated policy maximises community benefit within one of the north-east’s final growth areas.

URPS added value by managing complex planning issues including the land’s interface with a nearby quarry. We balanced expert air quality advice with extensive stakeholder engagement. We found the right measures to protect residential amenity without impacting nearby operations, ensuring a successful outcome.
