Climate Ready Coasts Foundation Project

The Local Government Association of South Australia’s Climate Ready Coasts Foundation Project aims to accelerate coastal adaptation planning and promote a more strategic, approach across South Australia’s coastal councils.

Partnering with coastal experts Hatch, URPS led the engagement aspects of the project. We added value to the workshops by:

  • Carefully planning the process upfront to ensure smooth delivery and minimise room for error through a co-design approach with the client.
  • Adopting a consistent yet flexible engagement approach, tailoring activities to ensure they were relevant and energising for each audience while gathering equivalent information.
  • Using the engagement process to build confidence in the project.
  • Summarising the results in a way that highlighted overall themes while addressing region-specific nuances and ideas.
