SENIOR CONSULTANT

Scott Twine

Living and working in the community in which he was raised, Scott knows that reputation is everything. His reputation for rock-solid planning advice precedes him.

Scott learned about the importance of great customer service early in his working life as retail sales manager. It means listening carefully, treating people with respect and going the extra mile. He brings this approach to his work in development assessment/facilitation.

Whether he is coordinating a range of documentation for a development application, articulating a complex planning argument based on contemporary case law, or working through detailed engineering designs, Scott is focused on customer satisfaction. That means speed, clarity and certainty for our clients.

Scott’s experience working for a local Council in a peri-urban region has exposed him to a wide range of development. From green-fields subdivision to industrial buildings, from heritage matters to town centre development. He has dealt with the A-Z of zones and understands their strengths and weaknesses in realising planning and development intent. He also knows the value of careful strategy in managing politically sensitive matters.

Scott’s experience in new release areas has seen him develop long-term relationships with many in the development sector. This has helped him to identify potential barriers quickly and collaborate effectively with allied professionals to clear the way. We are known as relationship builders at URPS and Scott is no exception.
