Emma Williams

Emma is passionate about engagement and removing jargon from planning projects to help people have their say.

A very experienced communications and engagement specialist, Emma’s career spans the military and the high arts.  From the Royal Australian Navy to Opera Australia, the Museum of Applied Arts & Sciences, Sydney Observatory and the National Maritime Museum.

Her versatility has also been evident in her State and local government work across Australia.  This includes managing communications and engagement for the State Planning Commission and PlanSA where she lead stakeholder engagement events and the preparation of strategic plans and consultation documents.

Emma is skilled in strategic and crisis communications, marketing and event management and media relations.  She combines tenacity and reliability with creativity and flair.  She also loves nothing more than managing challenging projects and competing priorities – she’s even got a peacekeeping medal to prove it.
