Volunteering outside the workplace is another way URPS turns towards the community.
Various members of our team spend some of their free-time in the following ways:
- Emily mentors a youth robotics team and judges robotics competitions.
- Grace runs guided tours of the pandas and Envirodome at the Adelaide Zoo.
- Anna P is the co-ordinator of 13 Junior teams and coaches a team at the Burnside Hockey Club (as well as playing in the M1 Women’s team).
- Marcus coaches a basketball team at the Norwood Flames.
- Rosanna is a former Secretary of the Marche Club for friends and families of that region of Italy.
- Anna DC is a member of the Belair Primary School Governing Council.
- Zoe has been a team manager for the Kilkenny Primary School cricket team and runs activities on footy game day for the Woodville South Football Club.
Being volunteers outside of work also helps to keep us energised and bring our best to the office.
