These projects include the high-profile $196 million Ovingham Level Crossing Removal project, Main South Road Duplication (Stage 1) between Seaford and Aldinga, and the Golden Grove and Paradise Park āNā Rides.
During this time, she has gained an enviable reputation for her ability to positively engage diverse groups and local communities (including schools, local businesses, farmers and vignerons), ensuring their voices were heard and they felt a strong sense of involvement and connection to the project and the built environment.
In her role on the Ovingham Level Crossing Removal project, she led public art and school engagement ā which resulted in the establishment of butterfly gardens, public art competitions and other positive environmental projects. She also participated in project management, strategy, communications and stakeholder engagement and Kaurna Liaison and Engagement.
The daughter of two urban planners, she began her career as a transport planner in Sydney, where she gained exposure to valuable technical skills, before returning to Adelaide to broaden her focus.
Ruby is passionate about the significant potential of the built environment to help shape and enhance the lives of communities and cities.
