Rebecca Rutschack and Chelsea Jurek are the newest members of the URPS team.
They are both experienced development facilitators known for clear communication, excellent negotiation skills, fresh ideas, practical solutions and an eye for detail.
Given her background as the Assessment Manager at the City of Adelaide, Rebecca specialises in planning and development facilitation in the City. This ranges from the most complex multi-million-dollar high rise development to the smallest change of use and everything in between.
Rebecca has also worked for several other Councils across greater metropolitan Adelaide giving her a diverse planning skillset and network. We estimate that Rebecca has attended in excess of 200 Council Assessment Panel meetings throughout her career.
Chelsea has been a planning consultant for many years in Adelaide and Sydney. This gives her a confidence that comes from working across different jurisdictions and all forms of development. This also helps her to think differently when meeting the challenges of the development assessment process and the varied range of issues for resolution.
Both Rebecca and Chelsea understand that economics are a significant driver of development. They also understand that planning provisions are a reflection of community attitudes towards acceptable development. This helps them to position development so it is economically viable, attractive to the market and satisfies the key planning tests.
We are very excited to have these great new additions to URPS.
