We are very excited to announce that Anita Allen is joining URPS. Anita will work principally in our policy team with a focus on code amendments, regional planning, master planning and infrastructure planning.
Anita has held a variety of senior management roles in the South Australian Government. She has been a key part of the leadership team implementing the PDI Act.
Many will know Anita as a driving force in delivering the South Australian Planning & Design Code – a colossal effort by any measure.
Anita has also previously led the State Government’s Case Management Service for major development applications in the CBD. This means that she understands the application of planning policy to significant development projects. This, in turn, has sharpened her planning policy work.
With a hunger for reform and improvement, Anita is also used to delivering under pressure. Important attributes for any great planning consultant.
Anita will commence with URPS early in the new year.
